Summary
Synopsis of Passion: Diaphonic Symphonia Novel
“You should have stayed until the end. Until the final moment of choosing the successor. You should have stayed, lost to me, and spent your whole life struggling beneath me.”
“I won’t do it. Do you really think I’d do what you want?”
Jeong Taeui suddenly finds himself a wanted fugitive because of Ilay. But surprisingly, life on the run at the Riegrow family estate is rather peaceful.
That peace, however, doesn’t last long. Ilay’s childhood friend (!) and breathtakingly handsome Christoph visits the Riegrow estate and takes a book that Kyle cherishes deeply. At Kyle’s request, Taeui heads to Tarten in Dresden to retrieve the book.
There, a fierce succession battle is underway to determine the next heir of Tarten. Christoph, whom Taeui seeks out, appears to be on bad terms with nearly everyone in his family—especially Richard, the most likely heir, with whom he shares a bitter and hostile rivalry.
To make matters worse, the dazzlingly beautiful Christoph openly shows interest in Taeui and awkwardly flirts with him. Watching this unfold, Richard begins to experience unfamiliar and unsettling changes in his own feelings…
