March Novel (Completed) - Chapter 19
“Hmm… to go faster from here, the syringe size would need to be a bit smaller.”
“How much?”
“About this much?”
When Sehwa showed the approximate size with his fingers, Gi Taejeong silently stroked his chin.
“If the size gets that small, how much faster can you be? Faster than now?”
“Well, I don’t know how fast you’re looking… But wouldn’t it be better to hire someone more specialized than me for assassination?”
“You’re talking nonsense again.”
Gi Taejeong rolled the empty syringe on the table back and forth in his palm.
“Where do you think the drug came from?”
“It seems to be confiscated goods from the House in Zone 3. It’s Mexican-made, and the purity isn’t bad… There are only about two places that can secure this much of such goods: our House and the one in Zone 3.”
And the House in Zone 3 somehow fell out of favor with the higher-ups, so all their stock was confiscated. The gambling den was still operating, but having good quality drugs at a cheaper price than elsewhere was a big advantage, so it was unlikely to regain its former reputation. The informant was obvious. The owner, who didn’t want to share clients, must have bribed someone to report them.
“Is there absolutely no other route besides the Zone 3 House?”
“No.”
Thinking he might have spoken too insolently, Sehwa added, “Rumors circulated that I have a big backer, so the drug dealers listen to me well.” Fortunately, Gi Taejeong didn’t seem to mind much. Instead, he just kept puffing on the cigar in his mouth, as if deep in thought.
“How did you know it was Mexican-made? Can you distinguish that by taste too?”
“I can, but… I don’t confirm the country of origin by taste alone. Although it rarely happens, there are occasionally guys who tamper with it when it enters the country. So they leave a mark. Here…”
Sehwa held out the cap of the syringe.
“There’s a peculiar scratch at the end, which is… to put it simply, like Braille.”
“So it’s a code that only those who know can read.”
“Yes.”
Gi Taejeong pulled a sealed bag towards him and ran his hand over it. He found a very small mark in an unexpected place and nodded.
“Baby.”
“Yes?”
“Let’s go on a business trip in a few days.”
“…Uh, I, as I said, I don’t think assassination is…”
“Do you want to get hit, really?”
He snorted in disbelief, and Sehwa squirmed, wiggling his fingers. Of course, he knew it wasn’t true. But he asked him to show it several times, as if it were a strange trick… Wouldn’t anyone misunderstand? He also thought he might be of some use to this man…
“As you said, killing people using such absurd and crude methods is inefficient.”
Indeed. He was a man who could kill someone quickly, without them even knowing they were dying, or if the purpose was to torment them, he could be incomparably crueler than Sehwa’s methods. It would be far more efficient for him to step up himself than to hire a killer.
“Still, keep practicing. I’ll bring you various types of syringes.”
Well, as always, Sehwa, who had no right to refuse, just nodded.
“And although it won’t happen in the future…”
His gesture of throwing the cigar onto the holder was rough. The cigar, not properly placed, lay pitifully discarded, emitting acrid smoke. Like incense.
“If you act loose like that again, I’ll kill you first. Understood?”
“Did I act loose?”
“Is exposing your chest and asking me to touch what’s wrapped around your neck not acting loose?”
“Huh? That’s…”
“You said it yourself. Crying and saying you’re neither a rag nor a male prostitute.”
He wanted to ask what he meant by that. He was telling him to practice quickly to somehow use his skill of transferring drugs into a syringe. But getting angry at the social skill that could most easily make people let their guard down… Wasn’t that a bit contradictory? Gi Taejeong seemed more sensitive about Sehwa’s purity than Sehwa himself.
“Director.”
Instead of an answer, the syringe that had been rolling in Gi Taejeong’s hand flew at him instantly. The object, cutting through the air like an arrow, missed Sehwa’s body and lodged itself in the backrest of the sofa. Even though it didn’t have a needle attached.
“You’re not answering, are you?”
“I’m not… No, I’m not saying I won’t answer. I just… I won’t act loose like that. But why…”
“I told you, it’ll be troublesome if another man’s cum gets on you.”
Had he said that too? Sehwa recalled the sex from a moment ago, where his memory was fragmented. He seemed to have said there was a reason he wanted to sleep only with him, not other guys. He hadn’t actually heard the reason, though…
“Then lie down.”
Gi Taejeong was still looking at the Mexican-made drugs from the ruined house. Sehwa suddenly wanted to press him. Wanting to have sex only with him. Not wanting other men to look at his body. Did he know how that sounded to the other person?
“Not there. Come here.”
Sehwa walked around the table and stood in front of Gi Taejeong. He felt a strange tickle inside his chest. The possessiveness he displayed, even though he didn’t know its direction, wasn’t entirely unpleasant. But then.
“We have to finish what we started earlier.”
Gi Taejeong shattered Sehwa’s fantasy beautifully, as if telling him not to have such idle thoughts.
Since he had slightly twisted his body, all the pleasure spread out on the table was visible. The scattered syringes and needles, the drugs spilled from a torn bag, and even the still-lit cigar. And Gi Taejeong was not the type to clean all that up one by one and lay Sehwa down. Since the patch was already off, there was a high probability that he would shove Sehwa’s face into the soft, drug-filled plastic bag and spread his hole.
He didn’t want that. Even though he had bitten his nipples and neck earlier, he had never kissed him. If his body got smeared with drugs, this time he would clearly use him purely for penetration and ejaculation, literally just as a hole, without even kissing him.
“Now I see you have bad habits, baby. You crawl around, but as soon as you’re comfortable, you stick your head up straight.”
“That’s not it…”
Gi Taejeong tightened his grip on Sehwa’s wrist. It was the same wrist his subordinate had twisted violently just a moment ago.
“How can I make you listen? Should I put a hose in instead of a dick? If I fill your hole with water until your belly bursts, will you stop resisting?”
“No. I’ll do it, I’ll do everything. Just, Director, I…”
As expected, Gi Taejeong’s hand, which was about to grab Sehwa’s nape and shove him onto the table, paused for a moment.
“Can’t we go inside instead of here?”
When his moist voice came out, Gi Taejeong only rolled his eyes and looked down at Sehwa. It was a black gaze, devoid of disgust or annoyance.
“Inside, Director…”
“You might regret saying you’d give it up here a little.”
“But this is the middle of the office, someone might come, and the table is dirty…”
Gi Taejeong, who had read Sehwa’s concern in his last words, bit his lower lip. As if suppressing a laugh, he rolled his eyes and looked at the ceiling for a moment, then gripped Sehwa’s wrist again. He pulled so hard that his gown slipped, fully exposing his shoulder, marked with teeth marks.
“What should I do? It’s not ‘you might regret it,’ but ‘I want to make you regret it for sure.’ Is that still okay?”
His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed. Receiving a gaze that felt like it would tear his throat, Sehwa nodded. The discarded patch and torn banknotes were trampled under his bare feet. As he was dragged, his body bumped against things here and there, and by the time he entered the room with the waterbed, his gown was almost completely off.
Gi Taejeong, who had approached, grabbed Sehwa’s cheek. They stood like that for a long time, their gazes locked. His unreadable eyes felt like they could burn him.
“…Director.”
He didn’t seem like he was going to kiss him… but just in case, he tried to close his eyes slightly, and he snickered, as if it was out of the question.
“Now I see you’re not just insolent, but foolish too, my dear.”
And indeed, as Gi Taejeong had warned, Sehwa had to sob through the night, wishing he had just given his back to him while buried in drugs.
Lieutenant Kim’s plump hands, which had been happily rolling weed, paused.
“Gi Taejeong went into hiding?”
“Yes. He’s not coming out of his quarters.”
It was marijuana he had barely gotten to smoke recently, as he had been called around a lot. Lieutenant Kim’s jowls drooped like catfish whiskers, his mood soured by hearing the name of someone who bothered him, on top of having his precious time interrupted.
