Lick Me Up If You Can Novel (Completed) - Chapter 202
“Gasp…”
Koi, who almost screamed without realizing it, hastily covered his mouth with both hands. His mind went blank in the unexpected situation. Why on earth? Why was Angel here? In such a state?
Angel was utterly a mess. His face was covered in blood as if he had been severely beaten, and he was spitting out bloody saliva. His staggering body looked as if there wasn’t a single healthy part. Koi’s face drained of color as he looked at the massive man standing over him as if in dominance.
He was beaten by that man.
He unconsciously swallowed dryly. Anyone would be unable to withstand being beaten by such a large man. Moreover, if it were Angel, with his slender physique, even a single slap would surely send him flying.
He wanted to rush to him, support him, and ask if he was okay, but he barely managed to hold back. Angel had glared at Koi with terrifying eyes for a moment.
“The next time we meet, we’ll be strangers, okay?”
Angel’s words echoed in his mind. Followed by his warning.
“Promise me you’ll never acknowledge me.”
Remembering his firm resolve, Koi had no choice but to obey. As Angel saw Koi barely standing on his feet, suppressing the urge to run to him, Angel smiled faintly.
‘Good boy.’
He mouthed the words. Suddenly, Koi wondered if Angel had already anticipated this situation.
“I’m leaving soon.”
Just as his words suddenly came to mind, Ash blocked Koi’s front. With his back to Koi, he spoke.
“What are you doing? You’re scaring Koi.”
Displeasure was clearly evident in Ash’s voice. Soon, an unfamiliar voice responded to his words.
“That’s none of my business. Now, spit it out. What did the gigolo behind you talk about with this slut?”
Suddenly, a strange chill ran down his spine. Koi was puzzled, but then he realized how angry Ash was from the voice that followed.
“I’m warning you, if you say something like that to my Koi one more time, I’ll make you regret it.”
My Koi.
It was clearly a situation where he should feel displeased, but instead, Koi’s heart warmed. Ash was genuinely angry at him. And to even say ‘my Koi’.
He felt an inexplicable sense of pride, but what returned was the man’s scoff.
“Right, do you know that your precious Koi kissed this slut?”
Ash didn’t answer immediately. After a few seconds of silence, Ash slowly turned around, and at his expression, Koi flinched for a moment. Ash, who had answered with his reaction, frowned and then spoke to the man again.
“He must have been forced.”
“Huh.”
The man let out a short gasp of disbelief. Koi, unable to even anticipate what would happen next, felt his heart pound, when suddenly the man lifted his foot and mercilessly kicked Angel in the stomach.
“Gasp!”
Angel gasped, a scream caught in his throat, and he collapsed. Koi’s face turned pale, and he covered his mouth again. He wanted to rush to him, unable to bear it, but before that, Ash put his arm around Koi’s shoulder and spoke.
“That’s enough. You know well that torture or assault doesn’t help with confessions, don’t you? If you want to vent your anger, do it at your own house. This is my house.”
Silence instantly fell around them. The man stopped moving, and only stillness filled the space between them. Other than Angel’s faint, ragged breathing, no sound could be heard. Koi, whose face had turned pale, met the man’s eyes for a moment. The man’s purple eyes deepened, and a chilling gaze shot straight at him.
At that moment, Koi understood. The reason why the man was treating Angel so cruelly. Angel would never speak of his own accord. He knew that too. The person the man was threatening right now was Koi. If you don’t speak, Angel will suffer even more, he was saying. So clearly.
“Koi.”
Ash whispered in a low voice close to Koi’s ear.
“Just tell me what you talked about with that man. Then they’ll leave soon.”
Koi knew Ash was telling the truth. But he couldn’t open his mouth rashly. There was his promise with Angel, but also, if they left, he couldn’t imagine what would happen to Angel afterwards.
Gulp, Koi swallowed dryly, then with difficulty, parted his lips. He desperately searched for an answer that would satisfy them while keeping his promise to Angel, and then he spoke.
“…He asked me to go out for some fresh air for a moment… and I was feeling stuffy anyway, so I went with him.”
“Even though you were strangers?”
Ash asked. There was no sarcasm in his voice, but he didn’t entirely trust Koi’s words either. Koi racked his brain, choosing his words carefully, and then spoke.
“That’s true, but I just… wanted to. You know, sometimes it’s like that. When you suddenly act on impulse…”
Ash looked down at him without a word. The man let out a gasp of disbelief. Just as Koi’s face turned pale, thinking he might hit Angel again, Ash asked the man.
“What did he say?”
In a quiet voice, the man frowned in annoyance.
“He said he kissed him because he was handsome.”
“What?”
Ash frowned, and Koi’s face flushed in embarrassment. The man continued to sneer.
“It’s probably true. This bastard always likes anything pretty and handsome.”
“Who says that?”
Ash asked, still frowning, and the man answered without hesitation.
“Pitman was victimized.”
He looked down at Angel and continued.
“This gigolo wanted a white-haired eagle as a gift. A pair with a golden eagle. There’s only one reason. He just said the eagles were beautiful. But do you know what this gigolo bastard did?”
The man let out a nervous laugh. In the silence, he dropped a bombshell.
“He slept with the employee who managed those eagles. And on Pitman’s bed.”
Koi, flustered, was speechless and looked at Angel. He was still lying on the floor, unmoving. The man continued to sneer.
“Miller, if you don’t get your act together, this bastard will be rolling around in your bed tomorrow, too. With ‘your Koi’.”
Ash’s gaze turned to Koi, and instantly, the color drained from Koi’s face.
“Th-that’s not true. Really, Ash. Please believe me.”
Koi, flustered, immediately denied it. Sleeping with someone other than Ash, it was unimaginable. He wanted to say that he had only ever had Ash, that Ash knew he loved him, and that he could swear it countless times, but Ash didn’t give him the chance. Ash turned his gaze back to the man and spoke.
“Why did you drag this guy here? If you need confirmation, isn’t this enough?”
In a quiet voice, the man didn’t answer immediately. Just as he seemed to be choosing his words and opened his closed mouth, a low laugh came from below.
“Heheheh, heheheheh…”
Everyone’s gaze turned to him. Angel was laughing, his shoulders shaking slightly. The man asked with a frown.
“What’s so funny?”
Still chuckling, Angel spoke.
“It’s funny, the way you guys are acting.”
Ash’s expression hardened, and the man’s eyes also sharpened. Angel, staggering, got to his feet and wiped the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand.
“Shall I tell you why you dragged me here? Shepherd can’t handle me alone.”
“What did you say?”
Ash looked at the man with a displeased expression, but the man was still only looking down at Angel. Angel, standing a few steps away from him, continued.
“Did you think the two of you could handle me?”
His chuckling laugh continued. Koi secretly feared that he had gone insane. Ash was just as clueless. But the man, who was the only one who knew the situation, just stared intently at Angel. Angel shook his head at him, a look of pity on his face.
“Shepherd, but you’re only two.”
Angel whispered in a sweet voice.
“And now your esteemed Gamma bodyguards aren’t here either.”
“Wait…”
The man tried to say something. But before he could even utter a word, his large body swayed. It wasn’t just Shepherd. Koi’s eyes widened in surprise as he saw Ash also turn rapidly pale, covering his nose and mouth with his hand.
Only Koi and Angel were fine. Koi clearly saw with his own eyes the men, nearly twice their size, collapsing helplessly. And he realized that Angel was the one who had made them do it.
Angel had released his pheromones.
