Into the Rose Garden Novel - Chapter 20.3 Uncovering Secret Blossoms in the Dawn
Kloff was getting a little tired of him saying absurd things now. His anger, showing no signs of fading, only grew, and he glared at Aeroc, replying coldly.
“You know you’re not an Alpha, and I know you’re not.”
“Aeroc Teiwind, the Duke, is an Alpha. If it’s discovered that I’m pregnant, there will be many problems.”
“We can think about that when the time comes.”
“I…”
Kloff had no intention of listening to any more resistance or excuses. He cut him off, grabbing the back of his neck with his hand and making him look straight at him. As their gazes met closely, Aeroc’s blue eyes trembled slightly.
“If you’re thinking of saying you don’t like me, or you don’t want to have my child, give up. You have no choice.”
He embraced Aeroc, who was silently pressing his lips together in response to the semi-forced demand, and pressed his head against his nape. And he inhaled the subtly mixed scent that spread through his soft blonde hair, which touched the tip of his nose. When he thought it was mixed with another Omega’s scent, it gave him sexual arousal, but he never truly liked the scent itself. However, now that the sweetness was a natural scent, and their scents had mingled after two days of repeated intercourse, he couldn’t describe how much he liked it. He felt full even without eating anything.
A moment later, Aeroc, who had been held quietly in Kloff’s arms, relaxed his body and asked.
“How many this time?”
The question was strange. When Kloff asked, “This time?”, he felt Aeroc’s body, held in his arms, flinch. At that moment, Kloff almost strangled Aeroc.
“Do you have another child?”
When Kloff asked in a voice as cold as if he were spewing a snowstorm from his throat, Aeroc quickly shook his head.
“It was a slip of the tongue. Just… a mistake.”
Kloff stared down at him to discern if he was lying. This Omega was very good at lying, so he had to be careful. Although he trembled a little from fear, Kloff couldn’t read any pretense in Aeroc’s eyes or expression. He decided to trust him for now.
“Don’t make unnecessary slips of the tongue in the future. I almost committed murder just now. One adult, and probably one minor.”
Kloff put his hand on the back of Aeroc’s neck, which had turned pale, pulled him closer, and pressed his lips against his. He kissed him lightly and asked,
“How many do you think you can give birth to?”
The anger that had been burning fiercely, as if it would consume his entire body, fizzled out with that one remark.
Kloff, dumbfounded, pulled his lips away and slowly examined the cunning Omega who was playing with him, pretending to be innocent. He looked sincere, which was even more frightening. Even if Kloff had warned him that he would never go hungry, he had only expected a maximum of three children, but six? Was he planning to spend all his good years giving birth? Kloff couldn’t even get angry.
“I didn’t know you liked children that much.”
When Kloff made a comment based on common sense, Aeroc stared at him, slightly flustered, then soon looked down with a displeased expression. Even then, his lips only touched Kloff’s collarbone.
“It’s my business.”
Seeing him being stubborn about trivial matters, Kloff thought that if he truly experienced it once, he wouldn’t say dangerous things like running naked towards an Alpha whose rut scent was overwhelming, even without doing anything.
“Well, since you seem confident, I suppose I should help you.”
Kloff moved the hand that had been firmly gripping Aeroc’s waist down and slipped it behind his pants, cupping his elastic buttocks. His unhesitating fingers quickly burrowed into the crease of his buttocks. As he rubbed the still plump folds between the smooth flesh with his middle finger, Aeroc gasped sharply and lifted his heels.
“What are you… Ah…”
As the first finger penetrated the slightly moist entrance, he made a regretful expression and tilted his head back. His slightly parted lips and jaw trembled faintly. The hand that had been gripping Kloff’s broad, firm Alpha chest curled into a fist. Kloff also saw wrinkles forming on his brow, and the tips of his gathered eyebrows twitching slightly.
However, he soon gritted his teeth and made a pained sound, indicating that it hurt more than it felt good. It was a shame, but it seemed impossible to go any further. With considerable regret, Kloff only massaged his elastic buttocks and licked his nape. Aeroc let out a small sigh of relief and meekly tilted his head, offering himself as a delectable sacrifice before the predator could bite.
“When is your next rut?”
“Probably in two months.”
“Two months will be tight. It seems we’ll have to stand three, not two, before the priest.”
Kloff sucked on the thin, translucent skin between Aeroc’s neck and jaw, leaving a mark. Aeroc seemed to lose a little more strength in his waist, so Kloff held him firmly in place.
“What do you mean?”
Aeroc seemed not to understand. Kloff decided to be a little kinder. He wanted to treat his Omega as gently as possible now.
“Even if we start preparing now, considering various things, it’s impossible to have a wedding within two months. But you’ll get pregnant during the first rut that comes. So when we sign the marriage certificate, there will be three of us.”
The person leaning against Kloff’s chest completely lost all strength in his body. Kloff held Aeroc tightly in his arms so he wouldn’t fall. Taking advantage of his lack of resistance, he rubbed his cheek against him. It would be even better if they could become one body like this. Ah, but then they couldn’t have sex.
“I’m legally an Alpha, so marriage is impossible.”
Kloff scoffed at the answer that finally came.
“I’m the legal expert here. I’ll worry about such things, so you just have to do as I say.”
Kloff wanted to kiss him again and lifted his chin, but Aeroc angrily turned his head away.
“If I had known you were this kind of person…”
“If you had known, what would you have done?”
Aeroc frowned and stared blankly into the air for a long time, then glared at Kloff again.
“Did you act this arbitrarily with Raphaiel too?”
“I don’t know why you keep bringing up Raphaiel. Do I have to commit murder again?”
At the mention of murder, Aeroc quickly shook his head.
“Don’t ask unnecessary things. I don’t like my spouse showing excessive interest in others at all.”
When Kloff spoke calmly but with strong force, Aeroc no longer retorted and nodded. He buried his face in Kloff’s firm neck and slowly moved his arms to wrap around his sturdy waist. The movement was so faint that Kloff initially thought it was simply due to lack of strength. But soon, Kloff heard a wet sound near his ear. The shoulder area of his shirt, where Aeroc’s eyes touched, became damp.
When Kloff lifted his chin with his hand, he was indeed crying. Kloff’s chest tightened again at the sight of him crying so pitifully, even though he hadn’t hurt him or seemed to have wounded him. Despite his Alpha instincts, which seemed to choose only actions that were extremely detrimental to his heart health, Kloff first licked his tears and comforted him. He gently stroked his sobbing back and left a tender kiss on his disheveled blonde hair.
“Why are you crying? Are you hurt somewhere?”
“I don’t know. It doesn’t hurt.”
“You don’t look like it, but you cry easily.”
Kloff wasn’t really teasing him, but Aeroc didn’t seem to like the remark. With tears in his eyes, he glared at Kloff with great resentment.
“It’s all your fault.”
He blamed Kloff in a rather strong tone, but his voice was trembling with tears, making him sound only cute.
“It’s not bad that you cry prettily, but it would be better to control it in front of the children later. It would be troublesome if an Alpha child is born and learns from his mother.”
“Mother?”
Even while crying, Aeroc asked back, startled. Perhaps because he had pretended to be an Alpha his whole life, he was easily surprised by trivial things, hinting at a difficult future. However, Kloff couldn’t help but laugh at him, with tears and snot, repeating “mother” several times like a baby learning to speak for the first time. He brought his forehead to Aeroc’s clean forehead.
“Does ‘mother’ sound awkward?”
“…I’m the mother, right?”
Even at the foolish question, Kloff patiently and kindly explained. Getting angry would only make his blood boil.
“You’re the mother because you gave birth, and of course, I’m the father. There are no exceptions. Children tend to learn from their mothers, so I’m telling you to be careful.”
“…The children wouldn’t learn from me…”
“If they don’t learn from the mother who raises them, who are they supposed to learn from? Surely you’re not saying I should raise the children alone?”
When Kloff questioned him gently yet firmly, as if he really might do that, Aeroc, with tears in his eyes, let out a foolish gasp of admiration. Tears flowed incessantly from his reddened eyes, and Kloff clucked his tongue, comforting his Omega with countless kisses.
To be honest, Kloff didn’t even like Aeroc leaving the room. However, since he couldn’t keep him kidnapped indefinitely, he decided to return to the mansion for now. As Kloff came down from the second floor, ready to go out, Martha looked a little disappointed.
“Are you leaving already? I was preparing a meal.”
“Perhaps another time.”
Before Kloff, the actual master, could say anything, Aeroc said that to Martha and nodded in greeting. Martha, pleased by the rare greeting shown to a servant, smiled brightly and saw them off. As they got into the carriage, Martha waved her hand, saying, “Please come again next time. I’ll treat you to my special salmon dish.” Aeroc nodded awkwardly.
“Wasn’t she a servant of the Westport family?”
“Martha? Martha is someone I hired from the beginning. Before that, she was a housewife in a large family. Why?”
“No, just.”
“We have no connection with Westport, so don’t worry about it.”
Kloff grumbled, a little annoyed that Aeroc kept mentioning his ex-lover, but Aeroc quickly nodded with a faint smile.
The carriage was unpleasantly fast, though Kloff wished it would go slower. It soon passed the suburban area and drove through the residential district, beginning to enter the area lined with luxurious mansions. As the familiar scenery came into view, Aeroc looked out the window for a moment and then suddenly spoke.
“No one knows.”
“Know what?”
“That I’m an Omega.”
