Eighteen’s Bed Novel Completed - Chapter 139
I only extended kindness for the sake of superficial connections. I wrinkled one eyebrow. Though I smoothed it out with my finger again. Damn it, lately I’ve been imitating Go Yohan’s habits frequently.
“An enemy of men.”
Kang Soohyun spoke with a voice full of indignation, then laid out baseless conjectures without giving me a chance to interrupt.
“It’s clear. You, just by looking at you, even if you don’t have a lover, you definitely have people who are less than lovers lining up. You playboy. You’re on the verge of dating, but not actually dating, that kind of… uh… you know? For our assignment, you know?”
“I don’t know.”
“Huh? You don’t know? My fingers are looking for Gahee’s number? Huh? They’re moving on their own?”
The way he shrugged his shoulders and tapped the darkened screen with both thumbs was truly displeasing. I narrowed my eyes at Kang Soohyun, then gathered my bag and stood up abruptly.
“I really don’t, so think of another plan. I’m leaving.”
“Huh? Where are you going?”
“What’s it to you?”
Kang Soohyun pouted at my words. It was strangely annoying, so I lightly pushed his shoulder, which was right in front of me, with a clenched fist. I didn’t push him hard at all, but he still stumbled back with a surprised face and let out a shriek. I didn’t forget to click my tongue as I looked down at him clinging to the chair.
“Oh, and don’t contact me personally.”
At my warning, Kang Soohyun twitched with a bewildered expression, then suddenly stood up and pressed the tips of his two index fingers together. He looked quite imposing. However, I couldn’t understand what this gesture of two joined fingers in front of me meant, so I just gave him a contemptuous glance and walked out of the lecture hall.
As I walked down the empty hallway, my head gradually cleared. The lingering traces of my conversation with Kang Soohyun clung to my back, refusing to let go. The words that had crawled up my back, entered my ear, and seeped into my consciousness now echoed again in the quiet hallway.
‘You, just by looking at you, even if you don’t have a lover, you definitely have people who are less than lovers lining up. You’re on the verge of dating, but not actually dating, that kind of… uh… you know?’
Complete nonsense.
“What do I have like that…”
My outer jacket pocket vibrated. I hastily cut off my thoughts and pulled out my phone. An unfamiliar number appeared under Go Yohan’s name.
It was Go Yohan’s number, which he had stubbornly changed a few days ago after causing trouble. His aggrieved expression, constantly claiming he didn’t know those bastards, was still vivid in my mind.
‘Are those bastards you don’t even know your friends? Not for me. They just come up to me and pretend to know me, pretend to be close? I have no idea where those bastards heard about me, but I really don’t know their names, and I don’t remember their faces.’
It was absurd how he complained about something others would envy.
[Professor bastard has no sense of time. Go get some coffee or something.]
Along with it came coffee and cake vouchers that looked like they had just been bought through an app.
[I sent you two cakes so you’d gain weight, so don’t give them to anyone, eat them all yourself.]
And the message that followed left me speechless.

Unfortunately, I’m naturally a light eater. To be precise, I dislike the feeling of being full. I hate the sensation of my body’s energy concentrating in my stomach, making my head feel dull. So, I always ate just enough to feel adequately full. That was exactly one slice of cake.
It was Go Yohan, who appeared after my major lecture, who looked at it with dissatisfaction. His already gloomy and fierce eyes settled coldly on my face. He seemed very displeased.
“I told you to eat it all.”
“One slice was an effort. How can I eat two slices when I’m going to have dinner?”
“Eat pineapple. Pineapple makes you hungry.”
“Where did you hear that from?”
And what was with him only carrying a worn-out pen he seemed to have picked up somewhere and two sheets of scrap paper? I grumbled idly, looking at the items he was holding with annoyance.
“Is that all your stuff?”
“Yeah.”
“Then what on earth did you use for class?”
In my words, Go Yohan waved the scrap paper in the air. On the pen that swayed with it, “Once a Marine, always a Marine” was written. Ah. The sight was so horrible that I squeezed my eyes shut.
“Why are you suddenly acting like you saw something you shouldn’t have?”
“Don’t you have a textbook?”
Flap, flap. Instead of my tightly closed eyes, my sensitive ears caught the sound of paper flapping. Go Yohan brazenly waved the scrap paper again.
“This is enough.”
“You… really. And where did you get such a strange pen?”
“I don’t know. It was rolling on the classroom floor.”
“Why pick something like that up?”
“Why pick it up? Of course, to use it.”
“Once a Marine, always a Marine,” he said. The symbol of strong will in the hands of Go Yohan, a fake American who would never go to the military, looked pathetic. Do Marines nowadays roll on the floor and share pens with people they don’t even know?
As I trembled slightly and slowly lifted my eyelids, Go Yohan pulled the chair next to me and sat down. At the same time, Go Yohan’s scent lightly spread around. Unconsciously, I took a deep breath. As my head became subtly intoxicated by the scent, I suppressed the drunken, rising emotions and opened my mouth.
“…You must have had something to write with.”
“No? I only brought my phone and card.”
“Wallet too?”
“Wallet too.”
“Why didn’t you bring anything?”
“Why, indeed.”
Go Yohan took the fork that was caught between my fingers. Then he poked the small remaining bite of sponge cake, put it slightly in his mouth, and said with a smile.
“It’s a trick, using this excuse and that, to talk to you and borrow things.”
His mouth, which only spouted nonsense, stretched wide horizontally as he laughed heartily. I lightly clenched and unclenched the hand hidden under the table. Go Yohan, who had thrown the fork onto the plate, lightly spread his fingers, looked at his slightly bent three right fingers, and said.
“Borrowing a pen, borrowing a fork, then this and that, even borrowing bodies, and every night, hands…”
His hand, shaped as if holding a transparent cylinder, moved up and down.
“And then.”
Hey…! Amazement surged into my mouth. Contrary to my surprised inner self, my outer self, with a rather expressionless face, pressed down his suspicious hand gesture with my palm. Ignoring his subtle finger-stroking gesture on my palm as our skin touched, I just stared.
Go Yohan rested his arm on the table and said with a sneering voice.
“No, honestly, I was the one who lent my hand that time. You just opened up. It’s a bit unfair.”
“Hey, shut your mouth…”
Is this bastard really crazy? I gritted my teeth and warned him in a low voice.
“I will shut up. But I have to say this one thing, even if it’s just out of unfairness.”
He said he’d shut up. Go Yohan brought his mouth right up to my ear. It was a truly sudden action. This time, I couldn’t help but show my surprise on my face. I tried to turn my head away to avoid the approaching warmth, but his hand grasping my chin was quicker.
“Let go.”
“No.”
His slightly lowered eyes were full of playfulness. I tensed at Go Yohan’s actions and moistened my dry lips. His gaze rested on my lips as he whispered softly.
“But, you know.”
His lukewarm breath brushed against my earlobe, tickling my thin skin, and his low voice vibrated slowly, touching my eardrum.
“If you let me put it in, I’ll cut the interest in half.”
I flinched reflexively. Bastard. Embarrassed, I pushed Go Yohan’s shoulders hard with both hands, but his large body only moved back a little. Moreover, he still just grinned, showing no sign of remorse.
“You, I told you to shut your mouth, didn’t I…”
I paused for a moment and hastily looked around. Fortunately, a large lecture had just ended, so it was bustling with noise. Such a small whisper would undoubtedly be drowned out by the crowd. Ah, really… The pale, frozen tension melted instantly. I sighed in relief and looked at Go Yohan again.
“You crazy bastard. Who talks like that out in public, you lunatic?”
“Then it’s okay inside?”
His narrow eyes openly looked at my lower body with a subtle gaze. Damn it, a curse naturally escaped my lips. Go Yohan didn’t stop there; he lifted his chin and stared intently at my chest, specifically one particular area. Damn it. If I blushed here, I’d truly be an idiot. I hastily pushed Go Yohan’s cheek.
“Then you’ll die, you know.”
Go Yohan had been acting so openly ever since the day we did more than just kiss for the first time.
Like when I’d wake up in the morning, dazed, and drink water in the kitchen, he’d casually grab my butt hard with one hand and walk away, or if I coughed in surprise and spilled water on the floor, he’d look at it suggestively and say, “Kang Jun always has so much water.” Damn it.
“You just say ‘I’ll kill you, I’ll kill you’…”
Go Yohan’s body once again broke through the wall of my raised palm. His words, whispered right next to my ear, were incredibly impertinent.
“You’ve never won a fight against me, have you?”
A snickering sound brushed against my earlobe. Go Yohan was mocking me. Arrogant bastard. Not wanting to lose, I tilted my head slightly and lowered my gaze. I saw his smirking lips. Truly an annoying bastard. I subtly avoided the guy who was grinning with his face close to my ear, feeling annoyed.
“Not in a fight.”
Slowly extending my hand, I grabbed his receding forearm tightly and said in a low voice.
“Anyway, don’t do it, whether inside or outside.”
Go Yohan, whose forearm was held, was silent for a moment, speechless. After a long exchange of glances without words, we separated as if by agreement. Go Yohan released my chin, and I released Go Yohan’s arm. His slender hand, which had been subtly moving away, folded, and his elbow rested on the table.
“Then I won’t, so please grant me one favor.”
“What is it?”
His face, resting gently on his stiff fingers, smirked.
“…”
Go Yohan’s face was always dangerous. I slowly picked up the remaining coffee. It was a silent attitude that I wouldn’t be flustered by anything he said. Go Yohan, who had been watching me with interest, opened his mouth slightly.
What he said was absolutely the worst.
“Please take my virginity.”
I ended up spitting the coffee I had in my mouth into the air. Go Yohan coughed lightly, held onto me as I bent over, and continued to act shamelessly, bending over with me and bringing his face close.
“I’ll let you take me without a word.”
“…Cough, cough! Gack!”
“Do you think eating someone like me is easy? You’re a virgin, so you wouldn’t know, right? It’s really hard.”
I couldn’t take it anymore. I covered Go Yohan’s incessantly grinning mouth with my hand. It was an act meant to tell him to shut up. But Go Yohan lightly narrowed his eyes, then forced his lips, which were pressed firmly by my palm, to move. I couldn’t properly hear what he was saying because his words were so muffled, but his intention was clear. He stuck out his tongue and licked my finger.
“Ah, hey!”
I startled, pulled my hand away, and looked at my damp fingers. I was in a state of utter confusion, my head pounding. Go Yohan’s long index finger slowly pushed between my fingers. Then he pressed my palm firmly and wouldn’t let go. I twisted my hand with all my might and stared at Go Yohan. His face, at the end of my gaze, was deliberately pouting as if offended.
“Others lose their virginity in high school, but how can I live as a twenty-year-old virgin? It’s so unfair.”
“…You really are a bastard.”
“Yeah, I guess I really was a crazy idiot.”
Ugh… Go Yohan sighed self-deprecatingly. Still holding my hand, he placed it on his right thigh. Then he subtly pushed my hand between his legs, and I hastily pulled it away. Go Yohan’s broken right hand was easy to escape. However, Go Yohan looked at my hand with regret, like a child whose precious toy had been taken away.
“…Ah.”
