Desire Me If You Can Novel - Chapter 131
What did I just see?
Grayson blinked belatedly, then refocused and read the words on the box.
Nipple clamps.
He stared fixedly at the label for a moment, then rubbed his eyes with his arm. After blinking a few times, he checked the box again.
Nipple clamps.
Grayson opened his mouth silently, staring at Dane as if to ask, What the hell is this? Dane glanced down at the box Grayson was pointing to and said nonchalantly.
“It’s for clamping nipples, don’t you know?”
Following that, Dane gave a suggestive smile and looked at Grayson.
“The thing attached to the tit you like so much, the nipple.”
As the words ‘tit’ and ‘nipple’ came out of Dane’s mouth one after another, Grayson’s vision went completely white. What is he doing right now? He’s trying to cheat on me with someone else right in front of my eyes, so why is he trying to seduce me?
“You’re trying to catch me off guard, aren’t you?”
Grayson glared at Dane with eyes full of suspicion. He must be planning to make me go soft, then slip out the back door and go to a club. No way, I won’t fall for such a shallow trick.
However, Dane knew Grayson better than he thought. Without a word, he picked up one of the sample nipple clamps placed in front of the box with each hand. He turned toward Grayson and brought them to his own nipples. Holding the clamps open over his nipples, he said.
“This is how you use it. Can you imagine it?”
The last words carried a very obvious intention. Following those words, Grayson very naturally imagined clamping the Venus nipples with the clamps. Then Dane put the samples down and turned back to resume filling the basket. There were many things Grayson wanted to ask, like What are you going to use all of that for, who are you planning to use it with, and where are you going to use it right now after buying it, but he couldn’t ask a single question. He was too busy imagining using that item to do this and that to the Venus.
His lips naturally relaxed, and he stood there with a blank expression, but belatedly his mind snapped back to attention. He hastily shook his head and looked around, but Dane was already gone.
I missed him…!
“Oi.”
The moment he frantically turned around, a familiar voice drifted into his ear. He stopped and looked, and Dane was standing in front of the counter.
He didn’t leave?
He walked quickly toward him, bewildered, and Dane, who was waiting, gestured with his chin. Grayson instinctively shifted his gaze, and there was a calculator. It meant it was time to pay.
Heat rose to Grayson’s head again. I will absolutely not pay. I will never pay for something Dane bought to fool around with someone else, absolutely not…
“You buy anything you want too, if you want something.”
Dane suddenly spoke out. Ha, as if I would fall for that. He’s planning to make me pay this way, right? Grayson twisted his lips and answered.
“I don’t want anything like that.”
Dane smiled faintly at Grayson’s defiant answer.
“Why don’t you buy it now, so you don’t regret it later?”
Grayson scoffed at him, letting out a puff of air through his lips. Dane asked again.
“You really don’t want anything?”
“No, I don’t.”
Grayson then added sarcastically.
“I don’t have such vulgar hobbies.”
He intentionally used insulting words and looked down at the basket, and Dane’s gaze followed.
“Is that so?”
Dane rolled his eyes, then looked back at Grayson. He shrugged one shoulder and spoke in a slower tone than usual.
“Then I guess I can’t play with you.”
At the muttered, self-talk-like comment, Grayson, who had been full of anger until then, paused. His lips slowly relaxed, and his expression began to change. His words came out after that.
“…What did you say?”

Grayson stared at Dane with surprised eyes. What did I just hear? Dane, who had shown no particular reaction until then, repeated himself, seeing Grayson’s blank expression.
“I said, I guess I can’t play with you.”
He took one of the boxes from the basket and pretended to examine it.
“You said you don’t play with vulgar things like this, right? Too bad, but it can’t be helped.”
At Dane’s action of shaking his head and lightly tossing the box back into the basket, Grayson belatedly snapped out of it.
“Then, surely you, you were planning to do this with me…?”
As he stammered, disbelievingly, Dane smirked and retorted.
“Why wouldn’t I? Do you think I would ask you to buy something like this for me to go sleep with someone else?”
“You would totally…”
Grayson stopped mid-sentence. When the smile faded from Dane’s face, the owner, who had been watching, subtly interjected.
“Actually, I think so too, Dane.”
To Dane’s astonished gaze, the owner chuckled, “Hoho.”
“You’re totally capable of buying stuff to use with him with money you squeezed out of this man.”
Dane stared intently at the man’s smiling face.
Both this guy and that guy, how do they see me…?
He was speechless, but trying to manage his image now would be ridiculous. He had lived his life this way, so of course, they saw him that way. Dane Striker, as always, quickly gave up and turned his attention back to Grayson.
“So, what are you going to do? You’re not going to do it? Fine, then…”
Before he could finish his sentence, Grayson pulled out his card and placed it on the counter. The owner quickly moved to process the payment, but Dane confirmed one last time.
“Are you really sure you don’t need anything? Check again.”
He kindly gave Grayson another chance. Grayson didn’t hesitate and turned to look around the shop. Most of the items were similar to what was already in the basket. His quickly scanning gaze stopped in one place. Dane spoke to him, who was staring at a leather Flogging Whip on the high shelf.
“A riding crop is better than that.”
“Oh, really?”
Grayson immediately lost interest. Grayson, a college polo player, still occasionally competed. Because of that, he owned several horses, and naturally, had plenty of horse-related gear. He had an abundance of riding crops too.
His gaze slowly circled the display shelf again, and something caught his eye. Grayson strode over and readily picked up an item placed on a high shelf. When Grayson returned and held it out to Dane, Dane looked at the picture of handcuffs on the box, then silently put it back in its place.
I thought it was strange that there were no handcuffs in the box, but did that mean this one was no good?
In front of the inadvertently frowning Grayson, Dane picked up an item from the shelf next to it. He deliberately showed the box to Grayson, then returned to the counter and tossed it into the basket with a thud.
“Those leave scars,” Dane explained. As expected, he knew everything. Grayson felt a warmth spread inside his chest. Unlike the ordinary handcuffs he had chosen, this one had soft fur lining the inside.
Dane chose this himself so I wouldn’t get hurt.
Thinking that, his chest felt strange. It was a cool sensation, as if a breeze had entered, but it wasn’t cold. On the contrary, it felt like his feet were floating in the air—an indescribably wondrous feeling.
“Please sign here.”
The elated owner swiped the card and pushed the pad toward him. As Grayson wrote his name, Dane took the large bag filled with the items from the owner and gripped it in one hand.
“Have a good time, Dane and partner.”
The wink he gave made it obvious what he was imagining, and there was no need to ask. Only an idiot wouldn’t figure it out. Grayson thought, and quickly followed Dane outside. The sun was still beating down fiercely. But his mood now was completely different from when he had entered the shop.
His mood, which had been at rock bottom, had soared up high. Wouldn’t walking on clouds feel like this? How joyful an emotion love is. Feeling such endless happiness—it was exactly as he had always dreamed. I knew it, I knew love was such a wonderful feeling!
He had experienced so many failures until now. But this time, he wasn’t wrong. Dane was undoubtedly the one and only love of his life. He had taken such a long, winding road to meet this man, tasting so many frustrations along the way.
But it was alright. Because he finally found him.
“I love you, Dane.”
Dane chuckled at Grayson’s fervent confession.
“Yeah, I know.”
