Desire Me If You Can Novel - Chapter 113
Dane stopped and turned around. Ah, Grayson instantly felt like he’d been splashed with cold water. Dane’s face was already plastered with “annoyance.” If he pressed any further, Dane would get angry. Knowing the visible future, Grayson hesitated and could only back off.
“No, I mean…… I was just curious.”
When he asked in a subdued voice, Dane answered indifferently.
“It just happened sometimes.”
It was an answer that was completely expected. And, of course, it was not the answer Grayson wanted. Dane, who had turned and started walking, turned back again when he didn’t hear anyone following. Dane looked at him, his brows furrowed. What are you doing standing there? his expression asked.
Grayson opened his mouth, then closed it again. He repeated the same action several times, as if he couldn’t distinguish whether the words he wanted to say were appropriate or not. Dane stood there silently, watching. As if he intended to wait until Grayson spoke. Encouraged by the silence, Grayson finally broke it.
“Did you sleep with Yeonwoo?”
“What?”
Dane immediately frowned and shot back the question. Grayson quickly continued.
“Did you sleep with Yeonwoo? That’s what happened, right? Isn’t it?”
“……Huh.”
Dane let out a short breath. He had waited patiently, and that’s all he could manage to say? Seeing the face full of undisguised contempt, Grayson bit his lip, then released it. His reddened lips, slick with saliva, suddenly captured Dane’s gaze.
“You might think it doesn’t matter since it’s in the past, but I care.”
Wasn’t that the petulant whining of a teenager? Even though he felt that this behavior was strange and inappropriate for himself, Grayson couldn’t stop.
“Yeonwoo is your type, isn’t he? You like small, slender body types that fit right into your arms. Yeonwoo fits that perfectly. There’s no way nothing happened. You sleep with just about anyone.”
What the fuck?
Dane’s eyebrows twitched. This bastard, who slept with every staff member in the fire station right after getting hired, is talking about me? Dane was dumbfounded, yet Grayson, absurdly, raised his voice even louder.
“You’re too promiscuous!”
At the preposterous accusation, Dane was so taken aback he was speechless. He wasn’t going to deny it, but did Grayson Miller have the right to say that to him? Dane clenched his hanging hands until his knuckles turned white, but Grayson paid no mind and continued to rant.
“You tried to go to a club for a one-night stand even after you agreed to date me. You can’t live without sex, so would you really have left Yeonwoo alone? I saw with my own eyes how much you fool around…!”
He knew well that there was nothing more unsightly than a jealous man, and even as he saw Dane approaching him with a fierce face, he couldn’t stop.
Dane, who was now right in front of him, reached out a hand. Grayson shut his eyes against the punch he expected to fly at him. But even as he braced himself, he instinctively turned his head—
“……?”
Something unexpected happened. Dane had grabbed the back of his head and abruptly pulled him forward. Before he could even think about what was going on, something soft touched his lips.
Startled by the unexpected soft sensation, Grayson opened his eyes. Dane was kissing him.

Grayson froze completely, his eyes wide open. What is this? What is happening right now?
While he remained frozen, unable to do anything, Dane pressed his lips against Grayson’s, forcing them open, and thrust his tongue inside. A thick mass of muscle wildly churned inside. Their saliva mixed, and their entangled tongues slipped and slid. Belatedly, Grayson closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Dane’s waist, pulling him close.
Surprisingly, Dane let him. Even when Grayson groped his buttocks, Dane didn’t push him away. Instead, as if it didn’t matter, he sucked on Grayson’s lips, licked his teeth, and lovingly stroked the roof of his mouth with his tongue.
Grayson felt his mind go hazy, like fireworks exploding inside his head. He could feel Virginia growing hard. Just as the fantasy of throwing Dane onto the bonnet of the car and driving his cock inside rose in his mind—
Haa…….
Breathing as heavily as Grayson, Dane pulled his lips away. Both their faces were flushed as they looked at each other.
“Satisfied?”
Dane pushed him away as he spoke. He wiped his mouth with his arm and scolded Grayson, who stumbled back awkwardly.
“Don’t be unnecessarily jealous, idiot.”
“…….”
Grayson, still stunned, obediently nodded. Dane looked at him and continued.
“Josh asked me to look after him for a bit, that’s all. Nothing like what you’re imagining happened.”
Grayson’s eyes slowly widened. Who was Josh? Was it the Joshua Vail he knew? How did Josh entrust Yeonwoo to him? Did they live together then?
He had many questions, but in the face of a single fact, they all vanished like dust.
My God, he’s explaining himself to me.
That wasn’t the end of it. Dane confirmed it once more, as if checking a fact.
“Yeonwoo just breathed and left, alright?”
He asked him irritably, pushing on Grayson’s chest with his index finger. Grayson, still staring at Dane with wide eyes, answered.
“Y… yes.”
Having gotten the answer he wanted, Dane’s expression finally softened. He turned away and crooked a finger, signaling him to hurry up and follow.
Grayson, who had been standing blankly, quickly chased after him, his face brightened. Dane glanced back and saw Grayson grinning to himself, looking delighted. Turning his attention back forward, Dane chuckled softly. He’s kind of cute, he thought.
That thought didn’t last long, though.

“Goodbye, Dane. Good work today.”
At Ezra’s greeting, Dane gave a small wave and got into the car. Today was Grayson’s day off. He briefly wondered why Grayson hadn’t managed to align his day off with Dane’s for once, but soon decided it didn’t matter. It was a rare moment of freedom, after all. He finished his work peacefully and headed home. He had already sent Grayson a single dot message. Of course, he didn’t bother reading the pile of messages Grayson had sent in reply.
ARIAS…….
He realized he was whistling a tune without thinking, paused, and then accepted it. Coming home from work was always fun. The whistling didn’t stop until the mansion came into view.
Everything was as usual when he opened the front door and stepped inside. The reason it felt unusually quiet was probably because Grayson, who was always chirping and clinging to him, wasn’t there.
Is he sleeping?
Dane thought, taking the stairs two or three at a time to reach the upper floor. The employees would have all gone home by this hour. He had naturally learned that the staff who managed the mansion visited about two or three times a week, prepared food, finished cleaning, and then disappeared like the tide. Since they appeared after Dane left for work and vanished before he returned, they rarely encountered each other. Because of that, the current stillness was perfectly normal.
But—
……It’s too quiet.
Dane paused, suddenly feeling uneasy. All ambient noise had vanished. This level of silence was somehow strange. It was as if no one was in the mansion. That bastard was supposed to be off today, Dane thought, then remembered.
Did he go out?
If so, the silence made sense. Dane continued walking, listening to his own footsteps echoing forlornly. He felt a strange unease. It must be because this is the first time I’m alone in such a big house, he reasoned, finding a convincing explanation for himself. The cause of the unfamiliar stillness, which he never felt in his cozy, small home, must be that.
There couldn’t possibly be any other reason…….
Just as he thought this, he opened the door to his room. The interior light suddenly flashed on, and a startled Dane froze on the spot.
“What is this?”
